In the Paula, our gourmet restaurant in St. Wolfgang.

Who is the Paula behind the Paula? Quite simply: the grandmother of our patron and 3-toque chef Sebastian Leutgeb: sensational and brand new, just awarded by the Michelin Guide as the first star chef in St. Wolfgang. But back to Paula, who has influenced him in his kitchen line, his philosophy and his approach to flavor pairing like no other. She is therefore somehow the grand dame behind the many fantastic awards. Grandma Paula always cooked fresh, with many delicacies from her own huge garden, with lots of herbs and, above all, always with excellent ingredients. Every day at lunchtime, she conjured up a 3-course meal for Grandpa and Uncle, with fragrant soup and or starter, main course and dessert.

Sebastian also learned this from Paula.

This is exactly what you can look forward to. Because it's always what you create yourself with a lot of love and enthusiasm that usually generates particularly enthusiastic feedback - and meets with a lot of culinary approval, so to speak!

In the "Paula" it was a success right from the start, because Sebastian cooked up 3 toques in his premiere season at the age of just 26, which he confirmed in 2024 with even half a point more in the rating.

The combinations of flavors are meant to be engaging, authentic - and bring out the best in you. Always designed as a colorful taste journey, the wine accompaniment adds the finishing touch.

Paula, our chef's omnipresent culinary mentor, his grandmother, loved simplicity. Today we call it purism. That's why she was particularly fond of her homemade eggnog. Sebastian has kept the secret recipe well hidden, but anyone who fancies it is welcome to try a glass as a digestif - or take it home as a reminder of delicious times!
